I need help on this math problem. u have 2 show work and use general linear ax+by=c?

-5x=4y+22

I need help on this math problem. u have 2 show work and use general linear ax+by=c?
what are you trying to find?
Reply:The person who answered before me is "almost" correct, but the correct form is -5x-4y=22. If you multiply al by -1, THEN it becomes 5x+4y=-22...but I think your teacher is looking for the first one...a=-5, b=-4, and c=22.

Good luck,
Reply:Hey there. Yes, I believe that the answer in the form you are looking for would be 5x+4y=-22 do you have to plot the equation on a graph??? If you do then you would need it to be -5/4x-11/2=y

I arrived at this because in order to plot an equation on a graph, you need the y by itself. So, I subtracted the 22 from the right which cancelled itself out and then subtracted it from the left. Then, you need to divide by 4 to just get plain y.

Once you have this, you plot -5/4 on the x axis and go up 11/2 on the y and the point where the two meet is the answer to your equation. And that point is your equation by the way. :)
Reply:I am not sure if I understood your question

-5x=4y+22

Rearrange,

5x+4y=-22

Here a = 5; b = 4, c = -22
