In triangle ABC, angle A is 32 degrees, AB=8, BC=5. Find angle C. PLEASE HELP IM FAILING MATH. thank you
OK im very very bad at math so please help me?
58
or
122
lol
Reply:you need to use the sine formula
sin(A) / BC = sin(C) / AB
sin(32) / 5 = sin(C) / 8
etc for sin(C) then C
Reply:Using the Laws of Sines, you have
5/sin(32) = 8/sin(C)
sin(C)=(8sin(32))/5
C=57.98 = 58
Reply:it depends on which letter is on the 'hyp'.
The 'hyp' being the longest side.
You then can use trig to work it out.
Reply:you need to use the sine rule
a/sinA=b/sinB=c/sinA
small letters = length
CAPITOL LETTERS = ANGLES
so
5/sin32=8/sinC
8sin32/5=sin C
shift sin that answer
C=57.98083803
C=57.98(approximate to 2 decimal places)
