I do hate math probly why i suck at it....?

i been asking questions from math on here today and thanks to EVERYONE who answered....and do u relly think its true cuz i hate math so bad is why i suck in it...but on my test scores i scored 13+ grade hmmmi wonder why? no its not wat u think i didnt cheat the test was just soooo easy,and im only in Algebra 1 this year and it is already killing me so far i have had 4 graded papers and 2 have been f's 1 d and 1 c,,in all my other classes i score a's b's and sometimes c's just cuz i dont do homework,anyway any ideas on wat i can do to like math more becuz i need to average a c grade to play sports wich i play basketball and baseball and if i get an f in math it will really hurt my c average.......any suggestions/? even though i think i shud be in intensive math wich is like really easy math hhaa easy way out?

I am good at math but was really bad at algebra too. I had some sort of mental block. I just couldn't grasp it, and then I would surprise everyone and do go on it once in a while and my teacher would ask me how I did it. I couldn't tell him and no I wasn't cheating either.
Reply:Guess what, I'm going to be very blunt with you... STOP COMPLAINING! Math is a challenging subject and a lot of people hate it. The reason why so many people have so much trouble with it is simply because there's a lot of stupid rules to follow, which causes people just to not care. It's not excessively hard, it's just laziness. Don't be a lazy person, study a little bit, and get off yahoo answers and do your damn homework!

Reply:math isn't really about math just like english isn't really about reading that huge novel and understanding the underlying detials.





Its to improve your critcal thinking. They give you a set of rules and see what you can do with them. Get the basics ( http://www.themathpage.com/alg/rules-of-... )down and its a breeze.
