Okay, I dont get this math homework! Its on math properties.
(a+b)+c = a+(b+c) how do I know which property is being used?
a(b+c) = ab + ac
15a = 15
(a+b) = (b+a)
Thanks so much!
Math help pleasee?
(a+b)+c = a+(b+c) %26lt;%26lt; associative property of addition
a(b+c) = ab+ac %26lt;%26lt; distributive property of multiplication
15a=15, therefore a=1 %26lt;%26lt; identity property of multiplication
(a+b)=(b+a) %26lt;%26lt; commutative property of addition
what grade are you in?
Reply:Asoccitive property is when its alot of leters and numbers with a plus
Reply:(a+b)+c = a+(b+c)-cumulative
a(b+c) = ab + ac-distributive
15a = 15 associative maybe? I forget what that is
(a+b) = (b+a)-cumulative again
