I need help my c alculator at home dont have all these buttons to do the math for me?
Just plug each of the values for X into the equation -x^2+17X-42. This is just simple arithmetic, you don't really need a calculator, or just one that does addition and multiplication.





I assume that y = -x^2 . . . as you have not listed any equation for Y.





Example:


X = 0 Y = -0 + 17(0) - 42 = -42


X = 1 Y = -1 + 17(1) - 42 = -26


X = 2 Y = -4 + 34 - 42 = -10


X = 4 Y = -16 + 68 - 42 = 10
