is there anyone who is really smart and gets great grades but gets bad grades or struggles with math
or is being good at math synonymous with being smart
anyone have like a 3.5 gpa at college but has C's in math?
Can you be smart but be bad at math???
Math is logical knowledge, it relies on the idea that there's rules that cannot be changed. You just might be better with practical knowledge. If you'll notice that some mathematicians seem to not have common sense... that's why, they have logical knowledge but no practical. Then there are those people that have both.
Then again it might be the teacher or the course that you have trouble with.
Reply:Being intelligent does not involve one particular determinant. Smartness is measured predominantly through one's entire countenance. Anyways, regarding your concern, math involves logical concepts range on a spectrum from rudimentary to an exceedingly accelerated extent. Please don't blame yourself for not doing well in math. There is a psychological notion stating that there are three types of people; you most likely are one of those people who is good at literature and bad at math. This just the way some people are psychologically engineered.
Reply:I have had that problem for years. English is my best subject and I do well in all others but, put #s in front of me and I can't work well. My boss says #s do a # on me. Ha Ha it is only funny because he is an accountant. But, I do agree that some who are good in all subjects can be stumped by a math quiz. I am proof.
Reply:Yes. Not many people are good at everything.
Reply:that describes me...exactly...
