Math 7th Grade Question, On Rotation?

1. Which of the following math symbols has rotational symmetry?

a. %26gt; b. ÷ c. %

A. a and b

B. a and c

C. b and c

D. only c

Thank you please help!

Math 7th Grade Question, On Rotation?
Rotational symmetry refers to positioning an object in reverse to see if it matches in appearance of it's original appearance. Both b and c match this criteria.
Reply:none of them except for the percent sign division sign

I need a C!!!!!?

well i have a D in math..67%..really close to a C and well i have to get my grade up to atleast a C- because if i dont then i will have to go to bummer school (thats wat i call it) and i CANT go i want to be free during summer oha nd theres only 1 more week of school left!!!!!!!!! :'( i dont want to go to bummer school waaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone have any ideas of how i can bring my grade up???!!!???

I need a C!!!!!?
If you would have studied during the year then you wouldn't be in this dilemma. Go to summer school.
Reply:go to summer school
Reply:Study hard and do really well on your next test. I brought my grade up from almost 10 points after I failed one test and then got an A on the next one. I had a 79% and it went up to a 88%
Reply:In my school D is not failing. My teacher tells me a D = Diploma. But if you want a C do some extra credit work or talk with your teacher. And now you know for next year to work a bit harder. ^_^
Reply:find a tutor or talk to your math teacher and find out what you could do last minute. Your other choice is to go to summer school and hope you do better next year.
Reply:Turn in all your homework and complete all assignment. Try some extra credit if you can. If that still don't work out, you can go to summer school and hope to do better next year.

What is the best math proficiency course to take for people who hate math?

Right now I'm enrolled in Personal and Family Finance and I'm struggling. I'm a Human Development and Family Studies major, minoring in Psychology and Sociology. Math has always been my worst enemy and I had to take College Algebra 3 times to pass with the required "C". Now I need to pass a math proficiency course to graduate from the university.

intro to finite if they offer it at your school..i didn't take it but i tutored some kids in it and they spent about 2 weeks drawing straight lines

Could i still be a vet if im not great at math?

i was never bad at math

i always got about B/C average

and i got A/B average if i got

good help from the teacher

im one of those students

who might not get it at first

but after a little help

i totally get it.

So my question is

i heard you have to take

a lot of math to be a vet

if im not the greatest at math

should i not even bother...

im guessing i could alway sget a tutor

or just try really hard, this is college

im not in high school anymore

i dont have to worry about friends

and popularity and activities to get in my way

Could i still be a vet if im not great at math?
Maths and being a vet is two different thing. I suggest you find out from the website what it takes to be a Vet and work towards it.
Reply:you don't have to great at math. just know the basics like geometry or alegebra
Reply:I have a friend who went to college to become a vet. She maintained a B average in math through high school and in college. the main thing you will need is a desire to help animals and are willing to study. The rest will fall into place if you apply yourself. By the way, she is a vet in a small town in Northeast N C now, and is living pretty good and enjoying what she does, helping small pets and farm animals like horses and cattle. Good luck and God Bless!
Reply:As an adult, you would probably do better with math. Most people who do not do well in school through their teenage years, can do better. I think it is the lack of focus (too busy worrying about partying!).

My sister is going to college to be a vet's assistance. It is a 10 month course, and she was no genius.

Check around to different schools and programs. I am sure if you really want to be a vet, you will do it.
Reply:If you really want to be a vet then you should go for it. You will be able to do the required math. You will need to complete up to calculus level math and a B or C will be sufficient to get by. Also I am sure if you apply yourself you will do better. Don't underestimate your abilities.

The actual required math is incidental to the subjects you really need to pass like physics and chemistry. That is where the math really comes in and is absolutely necessary. So don't worry so much about math. Worry more about physics and chemistry and getting those subjects down. These subjects and biology will be the keys to your success as a vet.

Stay strong, study hard and press on. You can be whatever you set your mind to be. Go for it!!!

Halfway Through The College Semester; How Do I Raise My C Grade to an A?

This is my first semester of community college and am doing great in most of my 5 classes. However i have never been good at math. In my math class i currently attain a C grade. We have Quizzes every week and exams about every 3 weeks or 4. I hate math with a passion yet am motivated to do well in school so I studied quite hard for this previous exam. I felt like a math expert for once im my life yet to my frozen surprise my exam was a D paper. I couldnt believe it. So now that I have been faced with such an ugly letter, how can I get an A in my math class?

I have not missed once homwork assignment, assigned each time class meets.

I'm a hard working student yet math has never been my friend.

Halfway Through The College Semester; How Do I Raise My C Grade to an A?
wow you really are bad at math...if you're half way through the semester and u have a C and u got all A's on everything else, then the best you can do it a B.
Reply:Too late for the A now...You should know how to make an average. You have low grades already. Are the 200% grades possible? No.

You may be able to attain a B- for the semester IF the C average is not too low. The D paper is the killer. The paper holds more weight or importance than homework.

Get an A for the second semester. That grade will mean more...you have improved.

Stay attentive, take notes, ask questions, and don't miss any assignments. That's what A students do. Hopefully you aren't going into an area that requires a lot of Math courses.
Reply:I failed my first mid-term on Math. The instructor was horrible, and then I withdraw from that course with no penalty and retake only that course in the summer semster (although you got to give up a month of your holday). Since I am only doing one course in the summer, I can focus most of my time on it, and I did ok on it. Do a lot of practice exams and you should be fine, since my exams tends to follow the similar pattern as the practice exams. I am glad I just have to do 2 semesters of math in my first year.
Reply:Have you thought about getting a tutor. Or even asking your teacher for a bit of extra help outside of class.
Reply:The best advice for math is to apply what you leanr as soon as your taught it so you wont forget. When you start on a section or a diffrent level take what you learned and do like four or five problems with the same strategy so that you can grasp the concept and you would be less likely to make mistakes
Reply:i just study hard mostly before bed once i got an f in maths then i started studying using this tech then i started getting b and c (i only used this in maths)the rest carry on as normal

Why can't I be good at math?

I'm in U of Michigan and I just can't EVER get the hang of doing math. I still need a few more so I can get into the Computer Science part (which I will try to major in and actually love doing I think)

I'm getting C+'s up to A-'s on math exams so far, so my gpa in math ends up being B's. No matter how hard I try (without killing myself over studying) I just seem to study the wrong materials in the exams.

If there are around 9 questions, I'd answer 5 in about 20 minutes like I just wrote a paper about it... The other 4, I spend the rest of the exam time on... Btw I just had a C in my first midterm and I studied enough I thought... I feel like dropping math altogether and do something easier

The Math department grades mercilessly (which is understandable; they don't give much partial grades) so I feel like an idiot to be honest (I don't study on my other classes and I get B+'s with it) :(

Can anyone tell me how to get better?

Why can't I be good at math?
I went to Purdue and I ran into the same problem....The only way that I could get better grades was to take my math classes in summer school. The classes were smaller, I had more one on one attention, and the teacher would explain what was going to be on the test so it would eliminate studying the wrong thing. I took my summer math at Indiana University. There would have been no way that I could gotten good grades at Purdue. I could not even pass the math class that was a precursor to the class I was supposed to be in.

Yeah math sucks --

Does your class offer any free tutor help or a help room? Those are good places to go because usually it is the TA from the class in the room so they go over exactly what you need.
Reply:your brain just isn't wired that way...seriously

but keep trying, get tutoring, there are online resources, check out videos at the library.
Reply:Some people are good at mathematics, some arent. I am skilled with maths, and the only advice i can give you is try to really understand what you are doing. All forms of math equations, geometry etc have formulas and rules. Dont think, "how am i going to apply this formula?", think WHY.

Once you understand what you are actually doing, you can do any form of equation etc etc If your marks dont improve, dont worry, not being mathematically minded is alright.

But for anything you do, understand when, how and why you are using a certain method. Practise from simple to more difficult exercises, and prepare yourself for anything. I hope this helps, although i may have told you nothing :S
Reply:im not good at math either. its just i cant pay attention to learn the lessons, im easily distracted.

Why is it that people who excell in math hate or do poorly in reading, and vice versa?

I ask because I'm a bookworm, and (because I sleep in class) I get mostly B's in English. Whereas in Math, I recieve F's to C's....although right now I have an A....don't ask me how I managed to do that. I HATE MATH!!!!! It's too logical and in-your-face! What happened to the creativity people??? And this problem hasn't started in high school....Math just isn't my thing.

Why is it that people who excell in math hate or do poorly in reading, and vice versa?
different halves of the brain. verbal reasoning (%26amp; hence reading) is more about emotion, math is about logic. High school classes are not that demanding, so you can get good scores in both, but it is very rare for famous mathematicians to be famous writers (Lewis Carol is an exception tho :).
Reply:Um, that's not true. Last time I had a math class, I finished with a 99% and my last English composition grade was a 92%
Reply:There's no such thing. Whatever you practice on and have pride in is what you can do best. Being good at something is a matter of practice. Not natural born brain capabilities.

Hey Guys I am doing GCSE Maths Retake I was wondering If u could help me by saying what's the best way to revise and to get a C grade.

I would be really grateful.

Hey Guys I am doing GCSE Maths Retake I was wondering If u could help by saying what's the best way to get a C
Get the CGP revision guide and the workbook, count the pages in the work book, divide by the number of weeks until the exam (about mid May): you've got the number of pages to get through every week. Probably about 7, it gets more if you wait any longer.

I'm tutoring five at the moment and have another two on the waiting list, see if someone can recommend a good tutor (if your parents will pay for it). Otherwise, get cracking with that workbook.

If you are doing foundation level, a C is the best you can get. You need to get 80% of the marks.

Good luck

Math projects?

My teacher wants to have a project to last us a school week. The requirements are:

a) has to be math related

b) 6th grade level

c) Must be FUN!

Math projects?
I would recommend doing the following... measure the heights and weights of every classmate of yours and show the average. Also show the distribution of heights and weights for boys and girls. This could be fun, try to make a short presentation too at the end of the week to the class telling them what you learnt from the data you gathered. Hope this helps...

C.S.E. results in 1978?

I got grade 1 in English Lit, and grade 2 in Biology, Maths and art., at C.S.E. level. Later I sat Psychology exam as a 'B Unit' receiving 69% pass rate. (A-level equivalent?)

Can anybody advise me as to how these passes rate compared to todays' exam gradings and their equivalent? Thanks

C.S.E. results in 1978?
On the Allied Irish Bank careers page they require GCSE Grades A-C or the following:

GCE 'O' Level Grades A-C

CSE Grade 1 Equivalents

Therefore I would assume that GCSE Grades A-C are the same as GCSE Grades A-C, whilst a CSE Grade 1 is the equivalent of a GCSE Grade C
Reply:I dont think you can compare them CSE exams were purely a Certificate Of Secondary Education, ( which in effect meant you turned up) GSCE's were a higher level exam and similar to an A level if passed at grade 1 level. but non of these can be compared as the later dont exist anymore.

If you are job hunting most people wouldnt know what you meant these days if you said you had CSE %26amp; GSCE passes.

Welcome to the club of having no exam passes that my children understand
Reply:A C.S.E. Grade 1 pass was classed as the lowest grade pass in G.C.S.E. , but it was still a pass! I got 6 grade 1 passes and 4 grade 2 passes and in the job market the grade 1 passes counted just as much as G.C.S.E. unfortunately everyone used to disregard the grade 2. I took my exams way back in 1973! lol:-D

I suck at math : ( should i attempt Calculus I?

i'm in my senior year at high school and am confused as to whether or not i should take upon the challenge to attempt calculus I at community college next year? I don't have Math 12 but am thinking about taking it in the summer. it all depends on the mark i get in math 12. if i get a C + then I can't take calculus but if I by any chance get a B, I can take Calculus. I'm worried i'm not going to be able to do calculus because I've never gotten an A in math throughout high school..but thats only beause i never really gave myself the chance to excel in it...and I never managed my time properly with other classes so i always ended up with a C. I also don't catch on as fast as other students. I just don't know because I really want to go into computer science but math is becoming to be such a big hurdle.

I suck at math : ( should i attempt Calculus I?
I can relate to this. I too never got good grades in high school math, and even in college I got a D in intermediate algebra. But that was over twenty years ago. Since last summer I have been back in college, taking college algebra, trig., and (with one more week to go) precalculus. I have been doing well; getting "A"s in all my classes and even getting 100% on many of the tests.

So what's the difference? Mainly this: I've learned to quit worrying about whether I'm "good at" something or not. If being good at something means you don't have to try very hard then I'm lousy at math. I do have to work hard. I do all the homework, I study, I prepare for the tests, and I keep focused on the goal.

I expect I will continue to get "A"s when I go on to my calculus classes. I plan on working very hard to do it.

One more thing: Like you, I don't catch on as fast as other students. When the professor goes over a new concept on the blackboard I'm usually lost. He asks a question and other students answer. They seem to be getting it while I'm not. I don't let it bother me too much. I know that I'll get it eventually--after I've had time to study, after I've worked through a few problems, after I get my mind "wrapped around" it. Here's something else I find, and I hope you find it too: Although I don't "get it" quickly, once I do "get it" I understand it better than the others.

So I hope you do go for it. Give yourself a chance; don't be down on yourself if it gets difficult; work hard and see whether it doesn't pay off.
Reply:Maybe this will help. The first day I walked into calculus class, at University, I took one look at the board displaying some problems and walked out. I felt like I had wandered into the physics lab. I was not ready for that level. A remedial class sure helped but I won't say how it turned out because I also changed my major. Understand your limitations and find a way to learn the basics before you spend time and money.
Reply:If you have to take the class, then i would give it a try but otherwise dont. I got a's in math all my life and i just couldnt understand calculus enough and i was unable to devote time to it because it was so frustraingly complicated
Reply:if you are not that good at math i would make sure you can devote a lot of time to the class if you end up taking it. also, look into tutors because if you end up needing help they can help you.
Reply:If you want to go into Computer Science, you are going to need to be good at math, especially Linear Algebra. Computer Science degrees usually require at least a minor in mathematics.
Reply:i suck at math 2............just do what your %26lt;3 feels, and no choice is wrong
Reply:There is no escaping Calculus with the field that you intend to pursue. I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate and I must admit that Differential Calculus (the first Calculus course) is a little bit "difficult" only in the sense that its concepts are very much different from its prerequisites -- Algebra/Trigonometry/Geometry.

You just have to study harder to master mathematics. You must always practice solving problems even if there is no assignment. Practice and more practice will be the only way to be proficient in mathematics.

This is sort of a guarantee though ... if you are able to master Differential Calculus, then the rest of the Calculus courses will be easy especially Integral Calculus (the 2nd Calculus course).

Good luck.
Reply:Well I'm the type of person that likes to see things for myself and not take anyone's word for it. So if I was in your situation I would take it, just to be sure that I wasn't able to do it because you never know you could turn out to be really good at it. See if you had taken grade 12 math during the school year you would know better if your capable of doing it becuase during the summer it's at a much accelerated pace so your results may not be so well. But by all means you got to put a lot of work into it. I didn't find Calculus hard but I know from other's that it always seems harder in the beginning then in the end. So I encourage you to give it a shot and if you find it hard don't get discouraged just keep trying hard and I'm sure you'll get past it. Then you'll look back and think that it wasn't so bad. And as a matter of fact by brother did very poorly in math during highschool (50's) but in calculus acheived a 71% so it might be even easier.

Math is not a subject only for the smart. Yes if you are smart it 's going to be easy but that doesn't mean an average person can't succeed and do extremely well. You just have to put more work into it. Since your going to be taking other courses along side Calculus try to give it more time, but if your struggling in it don't fall behind in your other classes becuase then your doomed. But if you ever need help on anything post the questions on here or message me becuase I would be willing to help you. I'm not a fan of tutors very much becuase I personally don't really believe it works but if it works for you by all means get one. But math is a lot of repetition - the more you do the easier it becomes.

Good luck and I wish the best!

Reply:1) Opposite sides of the rectangle are equal:

x+10=2x+8

solve for x=2

Draw diagonal BD

Using Pythagoras :

BD ^2=Ab^2+Ad^2

BD^2=29

BD=root 29

2)Length AB=root 8

Length BC=root 8

Length CD=root 8

Length AD=root 8

It is a square
Reply:First...draw it out...visual representation always helps.... the distance formula...usually right triangle help you solve a distance formula...

okay...so you've drawn it

( this is more or less a rectangle)

A--------------------------------B

........................................

........................................

........................................

D---------------------------------C

both sides AD and BC are equal as are AB and DC(definition of a rectanlge)

thus from the information given we can conclude that;

x+10=2x+18; and side AB is equal to 5 as is DC

if we solve for x we find that it equals 2, thus we plug in 2 for x and we get side AD and BC to both equal 12.

1. Triangle A B C is with segment A D is drawn from vertex A to side B C.

Given segment DB is congruent to DC and segment A D is perpendicular to segment BC determine which of the following describes segment A D in triangle A B C .

A)Median

B)Altitude

C)All of the above

2. Triangle D E F with median E G from vertex E is drawn to side D F.

Given. Segment EG is an altitude of triangle DEF. Angle DGE= 15y - 30.

Find the value of y.

A)8

B)12

C)16

3. Triangle D E F with segment is drawn inside from vertex point E to midpoint of side D F. Is segment E G a midsegment, perpendicular bisector, median or an altitude?

A)Perpendicular bisector

B)Median

C)Altitude

Math help please?
1.

Since segment DB is congruent to DC, therefore AD is a median. Since AD is perpendicular to segment BC, therefore AD is an Altitude

C) All of the above

2.

Since EG is an altitude of triangle DEF, therefore EG is perpendicular to DF, so:

15y - 30 = 90

15y = 90 + 30

15y = 120

y = 120/15

y = 8

A) 8

3.

A line from a vertex through the midpoint of the opposite side is a median

B)Median

I hope this helped

Oes nyone know any good books for math and game programming?

I'm gunna be a game programmer and will be starting college soon. I have to prepare this stuff. I'm doing C++ Since most companies only hire people with C++ expierience,

I'm looking for math primer books. And some programmers guide for the retarded like people who do't know anything about programming.

Oes nyone know any good books for math and game programming?
You want books such as "Physics for Game Developers" by David Bourq for the math. See link.

But if you don't know programming, you've going to need a lot more than one book to learn it.
Reply:David Eberly is the man on writing books about these subjects, although I'll warn you he goes into incredible detail and often shows the best solutions. He'll assume you know a lot going in, but each book usually provides an adequate introduction to the basic concepts.

For the easier stuff, maybe some more recent books by Andre LaMothe might help. His stuff is written for the uninformed audience and he makes it easier to understand while providing good information.
Reply:go to gamedev.net and check their books section.

also, they have many online tutorials, so maybe you don't need to buy a book at all. nehe.gamedev.net is also great. and they have good forums with helpful coders.

I do hate math probly why i suck at it....?

i been asking questions from math on here today and thanks to EVERYONE who answered....and do u relly think its true cuz i hate math so bad is why i suck in it...but on my test scores i scored 13+ grade hmmmi wonder why? no its not wat u think i didnt cheat the test was just soooo easy, and im only in Algebra 1 this year and it is already killing me so far i have had 4 graded papers and 2 have been f's 1 d and 1 c,,in all my other classes i score a's b's and sometimes c's just cuz i dont do homework, anyway any ideas on wat i can do to like math more becuz i need to average a c grade to play sports wich i play basketball and baseball and if i get an f in math it will really hurt my c average.......any suggestions/? even though i think i shud be in intensive math wich is like really easy math hhaa easy way out?

I do hate math probly why i suck at it....?
I am good at math but was really bad at algebra too. I had some sort of mental block. I just couldn't grasp it, and then I would surprise everyone and do go on it once in a while and my teacher would ask me how I did it. I couldn't tell him and no I wasn't cheating either.
Reply:Guess what, I'm going to be very blunt with you... STOP COMPLAINING! Math is a challenging subject and a lot of people hate it. The reason why so many people have so much trouble with it is simply because there's a lot of stupid rules to follow, which causes people just to not care. It's not excessively hard, it's just laziness. Don't be a lazy person, study a little bit, and get off yahoo answers and do your damn homework!
Reply:study study study !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
Reply:math isn't really about math just like english isn't really about reading that huge novel and understanding the underlying detials.

Its to improve your critcal thinking. They give you a set of rules and see what you can do with them. Get the basics ( http://www.themathpage.com/alg/rules-of-... )down and its a breeze.

What to do after you just failed a math test?

Ok, so i missed two classes in a row in math. On the second day i missed I had a test. i went in after school and made up the test. i got a 50%. I went from having and 88% hoping to get an A to having a 69% hoping for a C. I am normally smart in math. Last year I got all A's. This year, pre-calc, I've gotten mostly B's. Basically, i'm not used to failing tests and I don't really know what you do after you fail. Like firstly how do you tell your parents who aren't used to you failing anything. secondly like where do i go from here in math. like do i start going in every day after school. I've been planning on getting a tutor so maybe that will help. thanks.

What to do after you just failed a math test?
If you mostly get good grades , and you missed some classes and failed a make-up test I wouldnt worry too much at all. You might ask your teacher if you could redo the test since you didnt have any study time on what you missed .

If there are things you dont understand then a few tutor sessions might help, or spend a bit more time on it , but dont go to extremes.
Reply:o wow!! not a B!!

wow..... what i wouldnt give to have a B Report It

Reply:there are tutor after school for math or ask teacher for help . and PRECALCUS IS HARD , my teacher will give you addition bonus point 5 more on my final grade fro math
Reply:Yup, further study will actually help.. you might have already become overconfident since you are used to getting higher marks

Maths help please ax²+bx+c = 0 with a not equal on zero?

ax²+bx+c = 0 with a not equal on zero......... anyone?

Maths help please ax²+bx+c = 0 with a not equal on zero?
OK

ax^2 + bx + c = 0 is the standard formula. But you need to know if we have something else where it is NOT = 0 such as this:

ax^2 + bx + c = y ; where y is not 0.

You have several ways to solve this. First, subtract y from both sides to make it 0:

a^2 + bx + c -y = 0. If c-y make the trinomial factorable, you are in luck. Factor and solve.

If c-y does not make the trinomial factorable, use the quadractic formula (remembering to use c-y as c)

-b +-sqrt(b^2 - 4(a)(c)) / 2a

Hope that information is helpful.

Where can I find sample programs that uses the summations (Discrete math)?

As a computer science student, I am just wondering and trying to find out what is the relevance of discrete math in programming, like in C or Java. Can you name me some programs or some simple sample programs that uses discrete math?

Where can I find sample programs that uses the summations (Discrete math)?
flight simulator games are based on this. they're solving discrete equations on the fly that simulate the dynamics of an airplane. there are many other games that do the same thing. also, software that is used for music and recording use discrete math algorithms.

3 math problems?

1. (F-32) 5 over 9 =C

If F equals 50 what does C equal?

2. There is a math sign that is a "%26gt;" over "_" and one that is "%26lt;" over "_". what does it mean?

3. x I 0.5 I 1 I 2 I 4 I 5 I 10 I

y I 2 I 1 I 0.5 I 0.25 I ? I ? I

what is the rule? and what does 5 and 10 equal?

^^Sorry about the "graph" I can't make it any better...

thanks. also, please provide an explanation with your answer!

3 math problems?
1. c=10

5(50-32)/9=c

order of operations tell you to do parenthesis first, so

5(18)/9=c

5 *2=c

10=c

2. the sign __ that is found under your inequality sings mean that the number is "or equal to"

for example

2x%26gt;6 reads 2x is greater than 6, but if that sign had been underlined it would read 2x is greater than or equal to 6. this means that the term 2x can be equal to 6, so x could equal 3.

(50-32)5/9 =

18 *5/9 =

2 x 5 = 10 degrees C

2. '%26gt;' over '_' means 'greater thsn or equal to'.

'%26lt;' over '_' means 'less than or equal to'.

3.

'x' I cannot see the sequence of terms. - Sorry- but a guess is the rule is the previous term multipled by 2, but 4 %26amp; 5 are out of sequence.

'y' The rule is the previous term multiplied by 0.5.

y; 2;1;0.5;0.25;0.125;0.0625

C = 10

2. The %26gt; over _ is "greater than or equal to". The %26lt; over _ is "less than or equal to". If x %26gt;_ 5, that means that x can be any number greater than 5 but also includes the number 5.

If x %26lt;_ 5, x can be any value less than 5 but still includes the number 5.

3. The rule with your table values is y = 1/x.

The missing value under 5 is 1/5 = 0.20.

The missing value under 10 is 1/10 = 0.10.

Help me what do I tell my parents when they see my BAD math grade?

Reports are comming out tomorow, and I did really bad in math. I got like a C or D. I used to be an A last quarter. We had two tests in which I got one D and one C. The most thing my parents care about, out of all the subjects is math, and when they see my grade I will ... well .. theyll give me hell basically.. how can i calm them down and tell them that I will try to do better next time, what should I do to make them understand that I know that I did a mistake and etc.... Please help me im despr8!thxx

Help me what do I tell my parents when they see my BAD math grade?
1. Figure out why you got a C and a D. (reasons not excuses)

2. What can you do differently next time? (be specific)

3. Tell your parents you did poorly. (wait for them to ask why)

4. Give them reasons (keep it short, but don't rush through it).

5. Tell them what you are going to do differently next time.

This will demonstrate maturity, and they will probably either accept your plan or work with you to improve it--instead of imposing a solution of their own, regardless of your desires.

Then, it becomes absolutely critical that you stick to your plan, so make it reasonable and achievable!
Reply:Are your grades slipping because you are having problems understanding the Math or are you having problems due to goofing off in Math class? If it's due to a lack of understanding the work as well as you did before, I'm sure your parents will understand and help you. If you've just been goofing off, then you'll just have to roll with the basic hell they'll give you for it. For every wrong choice we make in this life, there is a consequence. You will have to take yours too. Although a C isn't too bad when it's the best you can do, it's also really bad if your best is usually an A. Take full advantage of the opportunity you have to study hard and get an excellent education or you will regret not working harder one day in your future. Make yourself proud and do your very best always. Then if you get a C you will know it was the very best you could do and you won't have to worry about what your parents have to say. But somehow, I don't quite think you did your very best this time.
Reply:Face the music and face it early. Before the report cards come out, go to them and tell them that you don't think you did very well in math. Explain why and be truthful. Make sure you do better next time.

No matter what your parents do, say or think, they want you to do well. If you aren't doing your best, you're only cheating yourself and that catches up with you eventually.

Good luck.
Reply:well tell them what happened...if things got hard and you tried to get help from the teacher...tell them the truth, and you will be better off. Tell them you didn't pay alot of attention in class (if you really didn't pay attention!)

U know your parents may get mad at you or yell at you cuz of your grade, maybe they won't get that mad as you think..! At least a C or a D is better than a F.

Maybe it will be better than expected. What if you got a B???

Keep up your confidence...maybe you will have a good grade...you just never know!!!
Reply:Oh sweetheart! I really know what you mean!

When i got a result at school, I kept the results for couple of days till the weekend was over, because i knew my mum/dad would be madly forcing me to get stuck and learn learn learn and i wouldn't be able to hide but be with them all weekend!!....

find a way to explain with pain that you didn't mean to, and how you can improve yourself....

good luck mate
Reply:promise to study more and do it!
Reply:If you have your old tests, take them and redo the problems you did incorrectly. Show these to your parents with the report card and explain that you're making an effort to understand and to improve. If you feel that you need extra help to improve before your next report card, be prepared to tell your parents that. For example,

"I had some trouble in math this semester. It was harder than it's been before. I did my homework like I always do, but the tests didn't turn out so well. I made corrections so I could learn from my mistakes. Because math is getting harder and I'm struggling, I might need some extra help. Could you help me with my homework sometimes if I ask or pick me up after school if I need to ask the teacher some questions at the end of the day?"

Of course, tell the truth. If you slacked off, own up to it. In any case, show them that you have a plan for doing better. Your teacher should be able to help you if you get stuck along the way or need help going back over old material that you didn't grasp.

We all have times when our grades aren't as good as we want them to be. We learn from it and move on.
Reply:Tell them you want to sit down with them and go over it together. This will show them that you are being responsible and making an effort to confront and fix your situation. Tell them honestly what you believed happened and tell them honestly, in detail, what you intend to do to change this.

You can start by setting a goal, and outlining where you think you went wrong. Maybe you didn't study hard enough, or maybe tests make you anxious, maybe you need a tutor - whatever it is - be honest. You're not going to go right back up to an A so compromise with them and try to set a goal for now to get a B on your next assignment.

IT TAKES ME USEUALLY 15MIN of SOLVING EQUATIONS, NOW ITS 15*4*7=420 YIKES!!

IM NOT GOING TO DO MY MATH HOMEWORK CAUSE ITS SO AWFUL, ITS TAKING OVER MY GAMING TIME. I DIDN'T DO IT IN 3DAYS, NOW IM STUFFED, I TRIED YESTERDAY, AND TODAY AND NO HOPE WILL COME. NOW IM SUPPOSE TO GO TO THIS PLACE AND HAND IN ALL MY HOMEWORK, BUT MY HOMEWORK IS FULL OF BLANKS.

IM COMPLETLY USELESS, YOUR THOUGHTS ARE?

A) I dont care

B) YOU SUCK AT MATH, DONT DO YOUR HOMEWORK

C) Im willing to provide useful information

D) All of above

Math builds on itself, so get to know your factoring basics. It sounds like you understood the beginning of factoring but got lost along the way. Go for help and ask questions. It's a lot eaiser when you put the effort in.

If you don't understand from the beginning, it's just going to be that much harder to try to learn the more advanced steps.

Math homework will be much more beneficial to you than gaming. Think of your resume when you need to get a job. Reply:Math as difficult for most people at first. The more you try, ask questions, seek others that understand, the easier it will become. I think 5 hours a day of gaming needs to go. If you are spending 7 hours on homework, thats also way to much. I am willing to help.

How to skip math and still get out of college?

I got into college at 17, and as expected I was put in math 65(remedial math). I've taken tutoring and was really expecting an A. I mean I tried REALLY hard, but alas I got a D. To make matters more complicated the teacher grades with an A, B, or E scale.

I've tried everything! Tutoring, extra homework, studying out of the book.....NOTHING WORKS!!!!!

So I was wondering if there was any way I could get a math disability. I've heard of people who really are terrible in one subject and amazing in others. I hear these people can get masters and doctorates without having to take the course and making amazing grades in everything else.

Does anybody know how this is done! I average A's in every other class. It's just math that I'm averaging C's in. I have little hope that I can bring that up to an A in the next three tests.

Please help me with this question! No one likes being above average in every subject, but extremely below average in one.

Thanks...

How to skip math and still get out of college?
you didn't mention what kind of college you go to (4 year or community). but if you go to a 4 year college, try taking the math credit at the local community college during your summer break. or even, during the academic year, at the community college closest to your actual college.

usually community colleges do not grade as tough and they often have smaller class sizes for the intro-level classes. but the main thing is, even if you still don't do that well at the community college, all you need is a "pass" and you will be done with that math course--the actual grade will not show up on your college gpa. (this is called a "transfer credit." you will be able to get an application for this at your school--but make sure you check equivalencies BEFORE you sign up for a class, just to make sure it will be accepted.)

now the only problem with this is, if you already are going to a community college...you dont' really have this option. maybe try to take the course with a different prof. maybe they won't all have the A, B, E grading scale, which does sound awfully tough.

as for skipping out of it entirely...probably not very likely. talk to your counselor for whatever your major is, or usually there are counselors at each college--college of science, college of art, etc.
Reply:You can't skip it if you want a real degree. The lowest one can usually take is a math for liberal arts students and even that requires prereqs to the algebra II level. If you want to be any kind of science major then you'll need substantially more math.
Reply:I'm going to say this

what worked for me was "do it right the first time so you don't do it again"
Reply:there is no way u have to pass math thats the most important subject try studying with a study group
Reply:I guess the question is why are you having so much difficulty in math? Is it a true learning disability where you're transposing numbers or is it more of a psychological thing that you've got yourself convinced that you suck at it so it becomes a self fulfilling prophesy? What kind of math did you take to get through High School? Can you kind of start there? Is there a more "practical" math that you could take that actually means something to you - how to calculate compouding interest on your mortgage kind of thing - something you'd actually use in real life? It might be more of a drive to learn it.

The suggestion to take it at a local community college and transfer it in is a good one, if your school would let you. (The school I went to did not allow ANY transferred credits, though you could test out of mandatory classes.)

A suggestion. Go in and see the prof during office hours. Explain your situation, your frustration, see if the prof doesn't know what you're doing wrong. Express that you really do want to do well.

Oh and in general, you'll have to major in some kind of liberal arts so you don't have to take any more math. All the sciences will require more.

Good luck.

About C.A And CPA?

i am a high school students and i am senior and next year i am going to college but i am worried about my major i can't decide wat major can i do i am very good at math and wondering to do C.A but i don't have any information about C.A can anyone give me detail about C.A and wat they do and wat is C.P.A and which one is good. can i earn more money by doing career in accounting. and i heard that after doing C.A and C.P.A i can do MBA in Finance is that good. please help

About C.A And CPA?
Sagar - Math does have a role to play in accounting, but a very small one.. If you think you have business acumen, you should opt for a career in accounting. As regards your question to CA/CPA, the CPA gives you a practicing opportunity only in the US. However you could provide US GAAP related consultations in India and make a decent living. Accounting is a lucrative career option but you have to pay your dues (CA takes about 3 years of your life easily, if you manage to clear all levels in the first go).

I know C and I can use it to create some intermediate level programs! I can use sockets, pointers pretty well!

But I can not make a program to calculate prime numbers or anything that has to do with math! I am really down with math! Kids in my class can make that kind of stuff with math but they can't program at all! they are good with math, I am good with C! Some people tell me that I do not need math and i should go ahead and expand my knowledge in C and othnd others tell meers! I've done that and I am still learning C and I think it is easy and I am loving it! But when at school, I have to do a simple problem with numbers, I freeze! So why do people say that if you want to be good at Programming, you must be good at math! I am a living proof that what they say is not true

I know C and I can use it to create some intermediate level programs! I can use sockets, pointers pretty well!
umm.. unless you end up in writing games or some other sorts of simulations, chances are that you will not explicitly need maths when you have to deliver code.

having said that, I have myself been a strong proponent of knowing maths (And physics) for programmers. if you dont know math, you can often deliver good code to implement a solution that was basically designed by some one else. however, you will almost never know how to compare that with a different solution.

I personally like the designing of a solution as much as coding it.. so I favour learning basic math to be able to calculate the tradeoffs.
Reply:Good with C? great!

A good programmer, ideally gets an algorithm from some place, writes the program and it works just the way the algo works. End of story. This is how vast majority of application developers live.

When you get to serious programming work, such as scientific programming or OS or compiler or toolchain development, you are pretty much on your own. Nobody knows which algorithm works best. Algorithms are taken from math!!! They are pretty much written in a mix of math and a natural language. You will have to develop algorithms. That is to say, you have to speak the language of math!

Now, depending on which of these two programmer profiles suits you best, you can choose to flirt with math or just ignore it.
Reply:i was (and still am) bad at maths, but good at programming. so it's not true what they say :)

(and i have a good job as a C programmer.)

sometimes, when i don't understand something mathematical (i.e. an algorithm), i write a program (in C or python or perl) which implements the algorithm. and then i can understand it.
Reply:Some programming is about math. Some programming is about managing information. There is some overlap and knowing both is always helpful.
Reply:yep, i have the same sentiments.... they even told me that the rationale was that if your good at math, then your good at analysis... i really disagreed! but we have to agree that being good in math does have an advantage especially in writing complicated programs.

Is there anything else I need to learn to program in C++ ?

i completed a C++ course...i learned :

Intro to C++ %26amp; the Environment

Variables,Constants, %26amp; Math Statements

The String Data Type; Equations

Programmer-Defined Functions

Creating Output (formatting and creating files)

Using the if Statement

Other Functions; Nested if Statements

Looping

can i earn money with this knowledge i have ?

Is there anything else I need to learn to program in C++ ?
Hi

Sure u learned C in C++ environment , and all those things you have learned are common for both C and C++ , matter of fact you not even entered the OOPS concepts , Buddy still these things are yet to learn !

Objects and Classes

Data abstraction and encapsulation

Inheritance

Polymorphism ( Overloading )

Message Passing

Dynamic Binding

And lots of basic stuffs yet to learn!

You can earn only if you have good programming skills !

Thanks and Regards !

Prince M. Premnath
Reply:Looks more like C... where are the objects and classes... did they teach u that ????

The answer to your question is : Not yet...

you are yet to get into the real essence of C++... well, there are lot many advanced concepts that you must go through if money making is the goal... try to get into a advanced C++ course that deals with inheritance, polymorphism, operator overloading, templates, exception handling, namespaces, standard template library usage, etc... (there are so many concepts dear...) also try to get some handson in OOAD based design tools like Rational Rose...(training institute will provide this one too) then u can go for the big bucks... :-)
Reply:This is a very basic course that you have done. The main magic of C++ is Classes and Objects concept which I think you still need to learn if u wanna become a cool C++ Programmer.

No wonder, C++ is supposed to be a OOP(Object Oriented Programming) Language
Reply:the core of C++ is OOP, u need to understand concepts like abstraction, reusability, ancapsulation and also practice them.

The things u have learn't so far are the basics of c++ and infact u need to know them to built on advance concepts, and then u will be able to increase your chances of earning money.
Reply:i m goin to do my BCA this year n i dont think thats enough....

is the course you have done a small one??? do they provide any placements?? do they even boast? if they dont then they are probably sure that this isnt enough to be a pro!

----------------------

the reason i m saying this is that i had C++ as a subject in my school, and C still fascinates me and all the topics you ve mentioned were covered in my school so.......but your course might be of some good details so cant say....

----------------------

the best is to ask your course teachers. ask them straight if you know enough to work in C++.....they know the best!
Reply:You study any programming language there is no end !!

You always keep on finding new things in them

The best way of mastering any language is keep on practicing.

Instead you can study graphics and animation which is very good source of income.
Reply:If you want to create video games you'll need to learn math, more math and even more math. :-) Seriously.

If you want to program busness applications you'll want to learn about databases ... and whatever else the client wants.

If you want to program for the internet, you'll need to learn markup languages (HTML, CSS, etc.) and a scripting language (PHP, Python, Javascript, etc.)

So keep hitting those books. Study Smart!

Reply:Yes. You're doing it right so far.

Yes. Mulitply the "-" with (c+1) to get "-c-1", and combine similar terms in the numerator. Then, multiply the "2" in the denominator by "(c+1)" and combine similar terms. Simplify the resulting fraction (if possible), and you'll have your answer.

Reply:you need to use the sine formula

sin(A) / BC = sin(C) / AB

sin(32) / 5 = sin(C) / 8

etc for sin(C) then C
Reply:Using the Laws of Sines, you have

5/sin(32) = 8/sin(C)

sin(C)=(8sin(32))/5

C=57.98 = 58

so

5/sin32=8/sinC

You can't say what angle D is without more info.

If BC and AD are also parallel, then angle D = 180-80 = 100

Homework Help Math Asap !!!?

Anyways if two lines are parallel and the slope of one of the lines is M ,what is the product of their slopes?

b.m^2 (m squared)

c.1

d.2m

My math teacher is so mean he yells at you for EVERYTHING and hhe gives us packets with 20-40 pages in class and we do whatever we can in an hour and a half and then do the rest at home and have it in by the next day.Only problem is if you ask for help he yells and gets mad so ive decided to ask you guys any help is appreciated.

Thanks sooooo much

Homework Help Math Asap !!!?
How loud does he yell? Maybe he gets upset because he has repeated the same thing over and over and over. Do you read your text? Do you take notes? In other words, do you do your part.

Consider your problem. What do you know about the slopes of two lines that are parallel? If you don't know, I guarantee that it is either in your text or in the packet you get. For sure it is not a secret and I am sure that you can read. Quit blaming your math teacher and get your butt in gear.
Reply:B, since parallel lines have the same slope. The slope of one line (M) times the slope of the other line, would come to this:

mXm=m^2 Hope it helps. ^^
Reply:if theyre paralell they have the same slopes, both m

Then, the product of the slopes would be m x m= m^2, so letter b
Reply:parallel lines have the same slope. if you multiply both slopes, your product is m^2

m times m = m squared

:)
Reply:Definately B. M x M = M^2
Reply:B
Reply:b. M^2

I have to take a Concepts of Physics class and I am not very good at math.?

I guess this class is the most basic physics they offer at my college. What should I take to be prepared for it? I never had physics in high school. I have had basic pre-algebra and I made an A in that. I also took fnite math and made a C. Do I have any kind of a chance of passing this class?

I have to take a Concepts of Physics class and I am not very good at math.?
Basic physics concepts typically involve a little algebra (e.g., E=MC^2, V=MA, etc.) If you understand those concepts, you should be OK, If not, I'd recommend going to the campus bookstore and look at the text they use? Also, look at the prerequisites to see if there is a baseline math requirement.

Good Luck!
Reply:Yes,you still have a chance of passing this class,if u got an A in Pre -algebra why not in physics?Grow a thinking i must!!!!What u should take to be prepared for it ,is that u need to have the interest first then the practical will come with the love for physics coz it`s an easy subject .Good luck!!

Would retaking a math and PE course look bad if I plan to transfer?

One of the major requirements of transferring to UC Davis is having a C or better in a math course. I unfortunately screwed up my math this semester and got an D, would it look bad if I retake the class again? Would it largely effect the admissions decsion?

Also, I failed a stupid PE course just because I missed out too many of the classes. Should I retake that too, to make my chances of successfully entering UC Davis higher?

Would retaking a math and PE course look bad if I plan to transfer?
Credits transfer not grades. However, you do need to take the math course over because of the requirements. I would double check the PE course requirement.

Good Luck!
Reply:Retaking them and getting better grades could increase your transfer admissions chances as you'd have a higher GPA and it would show the admissions committee that you made a couple mistakes but took the time to go back and try to fix them.

Making a game in C++?

I'm making a math game in Borland C++ v4.52.

The game is basically having multiple mathematical problems slowly go down the screen and the user can then enter the answer to a question. While the user is entering the question, all questions are still moving down the screen.

I don't know how to make it so that the user can simultaneously answer the question and have the mathematical questions move down the screen.

If anyone has a website or some code they can offer me, that'd be great.

Thanks in advance.

Making a game in C++?
Use conio.h with kbhit(), then, when kbhit() is true, read from the input using getch[e]() (using cin or scanf creates a General Protection Error).

I started C++ programming about 3 months ago, im bad at maths, but good at C++, will I be able to 3D program?

I am one of the best in the course at programming, but never did it before this. One mentioned that you need to be really good at math to 3D program and that being good at 2D wont really help.

Is he right, or do I have a fighting chance? I am pretty bad with math :S (Il pass/do most math, but with a good bit of effort)

I started C++ programming about 3 months ago, im bad at maths, but good at C++, will I be able to 3D program?
Math plays an important role in 3d programming you need to be some what good at geometry, and algebra. I have done 3d programming and i am currently working on a game, I have used math more then several times. 2d programing is less math related. But if you really want to make a 3d program/game feel free I'm sure if your good at c++ you can do it but it won't be easy. contact me for more help.
Reply:Yes, you can do that. But download the latest DirectX SDK for the month. Then there are tutorials, examples, and more. But it's so awful, its so long (300+MB)

How can i get a better grade in history and math?
put more time into it. study harder, ask more questions when your comfused....just try and see what happens.
Reply:Nothing that involves singles and dating. Unless you plan on dating someone good in those two subjects and can tutor you.
Reply:you dont get it or just dont like it?

if you dont like it, then just earn it by heart, like it is a poem, i do like this whit grammar,

if you dont get it, the just try to find arguments you can connectwhit those arguments you dont get, and the study the'' toghther''.
Reply:wll i am an (a-b) student an dmy advice is try to get some extra cretit or something or mabey have a friend help you... just take some time out of your biussy life and try to study the stuf yu are struggling with..
Reply:First of all why is this under this category? But to answer your question...Hire a tutor, study harder, dont try to memorize, try to understand.
Reply:Start by getting out of the "Singles and dating section"!!!!
Reply:u should do history with full concentration so that it remains fixed in ur head %26amp; for maths just practice again and again
Reply:You should defanitley work harder and study more to get good grades in Math and History.
Reply:Stop staring at the TA- he isn't really that cute, and his girlfriend is fed up with him never calling. He's really quite a jerk.
Reply:You can do some x-tra classes and tutoring, if you can afford it. Then you have to study more, it's the best way to have better marks. Don't go out for one weekend, study, study a lot and i am sure that you can do it. It difficult i know but if you really want this you have to make sacrifices. Study, study, study. Good luck.

How bad will a "C" effect my chances of being admitted to a college?

Before you all say it, I know that every college is different and all, but, it would really help me if I could hear some kind of advice other than "that depends".

So here's my story: I'm 17 years old, I am a junior in highschool and I plan on going to college. I would like to major in sociology. It is my passion and studying it on a higher level would mean the world to me. The only problem is that I really suck at math. I pass with C's but I'm not sure if that's "college caliber". In all of my other classes I get A's and an occassional B. My grades go like this:

A.P. American History and Government: I average a 90

In A.P. English 3: I average an 85

In chemistry: I average a 95

In Law: I average a 95

In Foreign Language: a 95

In Algebra 2: I average a 73! :(

I have not taken the SAT yet so I don't know how well I would do. I have a 3.5 GPA. That C is making me kind of nervous.

Any help or advice would do me good. Thanks.

How bad will a "C" effect my chances of being admitted to a college?
When I was in HS I failed a class and overall barely averaged an A (89.7). On the SAT I made a 680 math, 550 Reading, and 520 writing. I averaged 25 on ACT. I ended up at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a very respectable university. I never took AP classes.

I don't get this C+!!!?

Ok! So in math , i got a C+! I've never gotten a C+ before! But i ahve noooo clue how i got it. I've gotten all A's on alllllll the other tests, but one which I got a C+ on. I don't get it! And my teacher even said she thinks that I am one of the best in class. This doesn

t seem fair!!! What should I do?

I don't get this C+!!!?
talk to her about why she gave you a C+. tell her: i got a C+ but i don't know why. could you please tell me or show me the grade sheet?

maybe that test was worth a larger percentage of your grade.
Reply:there's nothing wrong with a C+!

it's still quite a high mark, and at least you can get a decent idea of what you need to improve on!
Reply:study more and this won't happen.
Reply:I suggest.. you get a life.

One C, big deal. Be grateful you aren't the one failing the class.
Reply:It is ONE C!!!! It will be ok.
Reply:talk to her.. In my english class we had to keep track of our marks on a marks sheet, I did my marks up and got 94 percent, I looked on her marks sheet and it said 80 percent.. I talked to her and we figured out that she'dd switched my marks with someone elses marks.. Check with your teacher, they're not always perfect. My guy friend got all 80 percent in all his subjects on his report card and there is no way he is an 80 percent student, I think there was a typo.. And he never told his Mom who bought him an ipod for getting all B's.. amaazing how some teens lie to there parents.. Good luck! And be bold and ask your teacher, otherwise I would hvae ended up with 3 B's and rest A's instead of 2 B's and rest A's.. Good luck!!!

Reply:Maybe you didn't read a problem right. For example:

When Allie was picking apples, she noticed 6 of the 30 had worm holes. What is the ratio of good apples to bad?

I got this wrong on a test, and I know why. It isn't total to bad (5:1), it's good to bad (4:1).
Reply:It might be a mistake. Go and talk to her, even though it is embarrassing. Just say you were concerned, because you did so well on the other ones. More than likely, she will allow you to submit corrections for partial points to raise your grade.
Reply:Go ask your teacher. She either made a mistake, or your grade really was that low. Either way, she'll be able to help you.

Don't worry, when I was in middle school I got a C+ in one marking period of math (the lowest grade I've gotten :'( ). The next 3 I studied really hard and brought my final average up to an A. Stressing over it doesn't solve the problem, but I would definetely suggest talking to your teacher.
Reply:Well C my A grade in math ha ha ha;-)
Reply:you should cut yourself
Reply:The nice thing about math is that it is either right or wrong. It's not like writing an essay where the teacher has to decide how good it was. Go to your teacher and ask her where you went wrong. I'm sure she'll be able to explain. Also, try not to get down on yourself. You are in school to learn. Here you hit a weak spot. It's likely that with some extra effort you'll be able to overcome that and learn what you need to know.
Reply:I would suggest you have a look at the paper and C (sorry, couldn't resist that one) where you went wrong.
Reply:Figure out what happened. If it was a difficult topic, ask the teacher for help. She knows you're good at math, so she should be willing to give you some extra help to get past this problem. If you're good at the topic, maybe you had a bad test day and can arrange to retake the exam. Find out your options in the class: talk to the teacher.
Reply:Okay if u got a C+ on a test you cant be one of the best in the class. Get that off of your mind. Ask your teacher about it. The test was probably more important than the others and weighted more heavily. STUDY WOMAN!
Reply:ask her how you got a c+
Reply:Your stupid I am mad that your making a C a big deal

If I get a C I will be dancing I get Fs and I don't complain

In AP biology i had B, C-, B, now in 4th grading period? Bad grades, junior year.?

Those were my grades for 1st, 2nd, 3rd grading quarters in my Junior year. My math grades went from C+, A-, A. My counselors said Junior year is the one that colleges look at most because most people blow off senior year. Next year I am taking 4 AP courses (chem, physics C, Calc BC, gov't). I know I will do well in them because I am going to study them over the summer. I really haven't tried in biology (they gave me a huge book to read for each test, I haven't read a single page of the book) and I have been getting the grades I have put in the title. It really isn't a hard class, but I don't like to study for it because it is plain boring. Math on the other hand, it's really easy (I dont know why I did so bad first quarter). Now I wanna know if colleges will like me for my senior year or they don't care about my senior year....thanks.
