Some Math Help???

I need some help again on math

Thank you

1. What is the approximate circumference of a circle is 3?

2.(I don't understand questions like this)

If a+b is less the c+b and d+e is less than a+b the e is

a)less then c b)equal to c c)less than d d)greater than d

3.(On this one I know that you have to put the numbers in to see what works and nothing works) HELP

Solution set of m^2-3m-10=0

a){5,-2} b){2,-5} c){3,-10} d){3,10}

4.The smallest integer greater than 1 both a square of an integer and cube of an integer?

a)8 b)9 c)36 d)64

5.What must be added to 3x-7 to = 0?

a)0 b)3x+7 c)-3x-7 d)-3x+7

6. 357 seniors. Ratio Boys to Girls 7:10. How many boys are in the senior class?

Thank You again (help)

:)

Some Math Help???
1. if u mean that the radius is 3:

circumference = 2 * pi * r = 2 * 3.14 * 3 = 18.84

2. I think u can't know from these 2 statements

3. a){-2,5}

u should know that the solution of this equation ax^2+bx+c=0

is -b/2a +- sqrt{b^2-4ac}/2a

4. 64

beginning from

2^3 = 8 which is not a square of an integer,

3^3 = 27 which is not a square of an integer,

4^3 = 64 which is the square of 8

5. -3x + 7

trivial

6. 147

Boys to Girls 7:10

Boys to Seniors 7:17

number of boys = 7/17*357 = 147
Reply:1. Not a question--you left something out.

2. I think you typed this one wrong too.

3. Check (a) again. Or factor the polynomial.

4. 8 is not a square

9 is not a cube

36 is not a cube

So look closer at 64

5. I really think you can do this. Do you know how to take the negative of 3x-7???

6. 7/17ths are boys. 10 =.17ths are girls. What's 1/17 of 357?
