Math help complex fractions?

please can some do this problem with all the steps do maye i would be able to understand and a check to i have no idea how to do this type of math.

You have to use the L.C.D or just common denominators

2x 2 x4

---- = ------

x-4 x-5

Math help complex fractions?
doesnt make sense is the "=" supposed to be times..?

and if u are trying to simplify then its not solve "x"

rewrite with parenthesis instead...FOOL!
Reply:When you write these up here use parentheses. We can't understand what you mean. For instance, is it:

(2x)/(x-4)=(2x+4)/(x-5)???

I would say multiply the top of the left side by (x-5) and the top of the right side by (x-4). If there are multiple terms (e.g. 2x-4) in the numerator, then you must use FOIL.
